Pacific International’s Financial Services team successfully delivered a Lean Transformation Change Manager at a leading Financial Institution in the United States. The client employs over 15,000 staff across the Americas and sought to build out their Lean Management System, targeting a transformation of corporate Operations and Technology.
The client’s ideal candidate would have experience implementing and deploying an enterprise-wide Lean management system, with a strong preference for direct experience utilizing McKinsey’s 5 Lens approach. Once engaged as a vendor, Pacific determined that such a comprehensive transformation would require deep industry expertise, a collaborative mindset and the ability to manage a range of stakeholders across the country.
Pacific’s extensive work in the Lean Transformation space served as a pathway to a vast network of Lean / McKinsey 5 Lens specialists in Financial Services. Leveraging this network resulted in a referral to a candidate with strong Lean Operations, Change Management and 5 Lens experience. Ultimately, the candidate’s previous success implementing Lean Management Systems made them the ideal hire for the client.
Speaking of working with the client, Pacific’s Head of Financial Services – Americas, Sheila Walsh, said: ‘it was rewarding to work with a client that maintained a clear strategic vision for their transformation, sponsored by the company’s senior-most stakeholders. Our success on the initial engagement also allowed us to support the program’s growth at multiple levels and across several requirements.’
