Pacific’s Automotive and Aerospace team has completed delivery of a Sales Director focused on EMEA. The team, led by Manuel Preg, worked alongside the Global Head of HR and Global Head of Sales to identify a seasoned, energetic leader to increase market share and act as a change agent within the business.
The client envisioned a Regional Sales Director that would be able to act alongside adjacent business units and the Global Head of Sales in developing a long-term strategy focused on key growth markets, which alongside new product development, would drive the company to greater success. The client was looking for an external hire who could bring an outsider’s view and challenge conventional thinking at the business to enhance their Sales and Business Development processes.
The candidate requirement specified an individual with long-term experience in sales and change, able to understand the electronics and digital markets in EMEA and how the landscape was changing, in order to ensure the business was able to keep abreast of developments while taking a sustainable approach.
Pacific’s search identified strong, proven individuals with the correct mix of hard and soft skills, with the ambition to match the client’s expectations for the role. Working closely with the Global Head of HR, Pacific presented a candidate demonstrating strong leadership in previous regional Sales and Transformation roles and an ability to drive and implement strategy and work alongside other departmental leaders.
On the basis of this first search, Pacific is building out the client’s regional sales capabilities through the ongoing provision of talented sales leaders.
