Change Programme Lead - Chinese/English Speaking

Job Description

Pacific International is supporting a top tier financial services business across their APAC region as they transform their strategy to execution.

This is a fundamental change programme due to the APAC region being one of their key growth markets.

The key initiatives they are focusing on in their transformation strategy include AI, Innovation, Workflow / BPM & Change. You will lead the Change stream.

This role will be responsible for programme managing and executing the strategy set by the Regional Head of Change APAC who you will report directly into. Based in Dalian and working with the business also in China, Hong Kong, Singapore & Australia, this will require language proficiency in:

English - Essential

Chinese - Essential

Japanese - Preferred

 

Currently all Investment back office work is done entirely in-house however the view is to outsource these processes, prior to transitioning to a new system they require a senior change lead with excellent project/programme management skills to ‘clean up’ the existing processes and ways of working in the change resistant environment.

After this first phase of change has been completed you will also be required to manage the implementation and low error transition of the new Investment management platform.

Key points that we are looking for:

-       Strong experience of business change and influencing senior level stakeholders

-       Deep financial services (and ideally asset management) experience

-       Experience of working with and influencing third party vendors

-       Strong experience of working between technology and business

-       Willing to travel between Dalian and Tokyo
