Job Description

Pacific International Recruitment is an international boutique recruitment firm, with its headquarter in London and further offices in Germany and the US, which has been supporting candidates and clients in those regions for over 20 years. Our client is an global company within the water industry and is looking for an experienced Director Product Management with strong knowledge in the waste water segment. Candidates with a technical background and commercial Product Management experience, who are driving change and growth activities, are successful ones. Disciplinary and cross-functional team responsibility is required for this position. Main tasks:


  • Lead product launch and life cycle activities, ensuring the product line meets or exceeds the target revenue, profitability, and growth targets
  • Detect organic and un-organic growth opportunities and needs within the water sector and make sure the targets are met by your team
  • Discover further opportunities to improve the products' complexity and the size of the portfolio  
  • Implement the product roadmaps and pricing strategies with your team and the other relevant departments
  • Disciplinary and technical team responsibility for more than 30 team members  


Your profile:  


  • Technical Bachelor's or Master’s degree; preferably an MBA 
  • +15 years of working experience in Product Management and Sales
  •  Relevant experience in change management
  • +5 years of experience within the water industry
  • Strong experience in commercial tasks as planning a go to market strategy, M&A activities or similar  
  • Strong experience in creating a road map and overseeing cost and time
  • Disciplinary team responsibility for at least 5 employees and cross-functional leadership
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and to share your vision
  • Experience in working with teams from different cultures within a matrix organization
  • Experienced in analysing the market and the customers' needs  
  • Inspiring leadership style, dynamic and pragmatic character
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis 
  • Fluency in English is required, fluency in other European language (i.e. Swedish, French or German) is of advantage
