Pacific has been retained by this globally recognised Financial Services firm as they embark on a major Operational Improvement initiative that will cover 6 specific operational centres across the UK with approx 2000 FTE's.
Following an operational review and due diligence exercise, the firm has chosen to create a leadership role within the business that will focus on making step change improvements within the Operations and Service Delivery areas of the business. With a heavy focus on client satisfaction and high degree on complexity, the service delivery metrics with the client must not be altered and remain high performance. You will however work closely with the leadership and the Operations Managers in the each site to create best practices, process thinking and a focus on simplicity and straight through processing.
The focus on the improvements you lead will also centre around the people within the business and you'll therefore need to be a hands-on Operations Director who has a strong change agent mindset to work on hearts and minds change management aspects. This will harness the great technical competencies of the Operational staff whilst create more innovative and problem solving thinking.
As an Operations Leader, you'll have lead an organisation with multi-site locations and where the business has an Ops headcount of between 500-2000 FTE's. A strong background in leading change programmes in the areas of Operational Excellence, Automation, Smart Technology and Future state OD&D will be a great benefit as these are all on the strategic agenda for the CEO and the global leadership team.
Experience and Background -
- Demonstrable experience in running significant P&L with large operational overhead and also O&T change budget
- Operational Leadership skills and also the background in people development
- Influencing and strategic engagement experience across a matrixed business model
- Energetic and lead from the front management style
