Pacific have been asked to support a leading pension scheme as they have undergone a major shift in the management of the organization.
With that, we are seeking a strong Head of Compliance and Operational Risk, dedicated to embedding and driving the strategy and compliance framework within risk and control in a niche financial services environment. You will be required to bring your own experience of Risk and Compliance to the role, using this to construct and imply a new Risk Framework, in order to embed the strategy and devise your own measures of adherence.
You will be leading a small team to ensure that the Risk Culture is fully functioning, reporting to the Chief Administration Officer, Head of Pension Services Delivery and the Head of Legal, Risk and Compliance.
The right candidate for the role will have proven delivery and assessment using their own work or the work of other’s within risk operational models, have strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to measure and act upon adherence in regards to Risk and Compliance. Within 6 months, you will have transformed the strategy within a new, internal team, transforming the Compliance and Operational Risk culture.

-A strong background and knowledge in regards to pension providers and schemes.
-Effective leadership, motivation, passion and drive within a concise and focused team.
-Ability to advocate and install a strong control and risk framework, adding to the strategic work.
-Ability to compose measures of adherence within the framework itself.
