Head of Lean Transformation - Central & Eastern Europe

Job Description

Pacific International's Financial Services sector team has been engaged by this leading specialty insurance firm as they continue to transform the business on a global scale with a focus on operational and technology efficiency to aid the growth and continuing digital disruption within their industry.

Under the leadership of the Group COO and the Global Head of Transformation; you will lead the regional Lean Transformation agenda for covering the Central & Eastern Europe region which includes operational / business units in Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary. 

Ideally, you will have operated as a Lean Architect or Implementation / Engagement Manager within a McKinsey Lean Management style programme and architected the strategy and roll out for the overal programme. You will work closely with the leadership in the region to communicate and develop the Lean Transformation plan with the specific deployment waves. In the CEE region, these operations include sales, marketing, operations, claims, call centre and back office activities. 

In addition to leading the programme, you'll manage and lead a team of Lean Leaders and also Lean Change Agents who will deliver the work on the ground with the business heads and also the front-line staff. 

As the programme develops from the initial waves, you'll work with the global transformation team to start to implement new ways of working including the introduction of intelligent automation activities and digital transformation projects. 

Working closely with the Operations and Technology leadership with the firm will lead to develop and move into top leadership and P&L ownership roles in the future.

The position is based in Warsaw, Poland but can include work in Prague, Czech Rep and Budapest, Hungary which is where a number of team will be based.

Strong English language skills are essential as this is the global business language of the firm. Polish, Czech or Hungarian fluent also important.
