Job Description

Sales and Operations Manager

Our client is one of the world’s largest and broadly adopted cloud platforms offering over 165 fully-featured services from data centers globally. Due to their rapid growth trajectory, they have a need for an experienced leader on the ANZ team to fill a high impact role.

The role would be for a Sales Operations Manager working closely with the ANZ, APAC and WW teams to help evolve forecasting models, analyze historic results and make business recommendations based on analyses. You will be reporting to the ANZ Head of Operations and will be responsible for the improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to the management team.
The position also manages the administration and execution of the team’s goals and measurements of goal attainment. You will also focus on providing operational insight to their Emerging Enterprise businesses and their growth initiatives, supporting the Head of Operations in day to day operational activities and providing additional analytical insight to other Senior Leadership team members as required based on strategic projects identified.

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaboration on design, development, maintenance and delivery presentation of forecasting models, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions across ANZ, particularly for the Emerging Enterprise business and growth initiatives.
  • Working closely with sales management, leading the annual goals, budgets, and ongoing forecasting processes.
  • Leading the development and provision of routine and ad-hoc analytic reports to Senior management regarding strategic initiatives, partner segment performance, performance against goals, etc.

The successful candidate must be able to work directly with models/data and be able to engage with stakeholders at all levels and will be passionate about their work, detailed oriented and have excellent problem-solving skills. They will be experienced at working with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them. It is essential the candidate possesses excellent communication skills and customer relationship skills.
To be successful you will also be required to drive toward simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project management skills, and be able to communicate complex analytical results both written and verbally.
