Pacific International is supporting a leading textile service business as they continue to implement continuous improvement initiatives across European wide sites. This organisation is critical to vital sectors such as pharma and healthcare and as a result, they have been trading for over 50 years in this space.
This position will be responsible for defining the strategy and overseeing the implementation & execution of the continuous improvement projects & programmes.
As an experienced Continuous Improvement leader, you'll be part of the central team and lead CI initiatives in order to enable the business units and divisions to progress and improve performance by spreading best practice throughout the end to end business value chain.
This position requires a high level of mobility, we are expecting the leader to travel up to 80% to facilities and sites across Europe. Due to the concentration of these locations it is preferred to have the candidate based our of Germany, Belgium or The Netherlands.
- Leadership experience from operations
- Mastery of a variety of improvement Lean tools
- Strong analytical, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluent in English and Danish/German
- Black belt / Master black belt certification (10+ years experience)
Independently driving and improving results by leveraging lean tools, consulting skills, and change management process and take primary responsibility or implementation of lean initiatives within sites/facilities.
Challenging and supporting site leadership and operations personnel to drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Creating long term activity roadmaps and lean transformation projects for European/worldwide sites including kaizen and step change projects.
They will have gained leadership experience from a manufacturing/production environment in a large or medium sized manufacturing company. Combined with change management and implementing lean management tools and methods.
