We are working very closely with the leadership team of this fast growing, healthy cooking, food start-up organization. They are currently recruiting for a Head of Food Safety & Quality to manage all of Quality Assurance including implementation, maintenance and improvement of best in class quality systems. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Office and will have the ability to be both operational hands on, as well as strategic.
- Responsible for providing quality systems related guidance across the entire company
- Ensure the organization oeprates and maintains safe, accident free facilities
- Work closely with the R&D and Culinary team
- Implements, maintains and improves best in class food safety and quality systems
- Provides leadership in the development of a quality assurance strategy
- Serves as a subject matter expert for all quality system related trends, key regulations and legislation
- Provide direction and guidance on quality and food safety issues for locations
- Understand the need to continuous improvement in a world of changing regulations
- Demonstrate depth and breadth of food industry knowledge to influence organizational strategy and execution.
